I came in with a group during an education conference happening in town and we had some of the best service and food I’ve had while being in Norfolk! Our server Vincent was extremely attentive and catered to our whole group with ease! All of our food was cooked to perfection and the plating was up to par, if not better than some of the high/fine dining locations I’ve visited.

The presentation was excellent. I wish I had have taken more pictures. The she crab soup had huge amounts of lump crab meat with a crab cake right on top. It was so good. I had the cinnamon toast French toast with beef bacon and the ordinaire breakfast. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly cooked. The pancakes melted in my mouth. I’ve never had grits that good either and I ordered the bread pudding to go. If you’re looking for brunch this is the best place!

Our server Vince was very friendly and attentive. He checked on us multiple times during our dinner. The she crab soup was the best! The flavor was perfect and It even had a crab cake placed on top. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. We will definitely be back!

This 1st visit was EXTRA-Ordinaire!! Our lunch service was EXCELLENT and we are so thankful for the recommendation of the CRISPY BRUSSEL SPROUTS SALAD.... OMG, these were the BEST BRUSSEL SPROUTS I'VE HAD, BAR NONE! These will convert a non-sprout eater? Also the Shrimp Toast, okay don't think aisan Asian tizer shrimp toast....No, this was a full-on buttery shrimp toast sandwich bursting with flavor!! The perfectly seasoned fries with our delicious chicken sandwiches were exceptional!I can't wait to return for dinner after this wonderful lunch experience. Highly recommended!!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ordinaire, and it was an experience we won’t soon forget. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles that set the tone for our visit. The atmosphere was simply amazing, creating a perfect backdrop for a special lunch date.Our server was exceptionally patient and attentive, offering thoughtful recommendations from the menu. We decided to try several items, and each one exceeded our expectations. The salmon bites, a standout recommendation, were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Another must-try appetizer is the fresh crab dip, which was equally impressive.For our main course, I enjoyed the shrimp and fresh-cut fries. The shrimp were deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked, maintaining a wonderful balance of flavor and texture. My wife opted for the Caesar salad, and she was equally delighted. Everything in the salad was incredibly fresh, making for a crisp and flavorful dish.A highlight of our meal was when Chef Fresh personally came to our table to introduce himself and ensure everything was to our liking. His dedication to his craft was evident in every dish. To top off an already fantastic meal, Chef Fresh surprised us with a personalized dessert, adding a delightful and memorable touch to our intimate dining experience.Our lunch at Ordinaire was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of exceptional food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a perfect choice for our date. I was honored to hold my 60th Birthday Party at Ordinaire! The treatment by the staff and owners from the planning to the execution was a warm, family feel. They made me feel like I was QUEEN and I absorbed every bit of it. The food was extraordinary and they kept it coming all night! My guests felt so comfortable there from being greeted by the security and escorted up and down the stairs with a smile, to getting drinks and of course, the party! We smiled, ate, loved, laughed, and danced all night! FANTASTIC VENUE FOR A PRIVATE PARTY! And they allowed us to have the entire restaurant!

Amazing food, service, and ambiance. I loved my experience at this establishment. The staff are extremely pleasant. The owner greets you when you walk in the door. Our waitress was very attending and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The bartender catered to our request. I had a strawberry margarita and my husband had a rum punch. They were made to our liking. The chef surpassed our expectations on our dishes. For an appetizer we ordered crab dip and it was absolutely amazing. For entrees, I ordered a salmon salad. The salmon was so flavorful and the salad was delightfully fresh. My spouse had the salmon Cajun pasta and I tried his noodles and they were al dente in a creamy Cajun sauce. Chefs kiss! I would definitely recommend 10/10.

I truly enjoy the atmosphere here. The happy hour is amazing and the staff are so sweet! I tried the chargrilled oysters and they were AMAZING! Honestly might be some of the best I’ve had in the area. Big shout out to chef Antonio and Chef Black!Oh and the bartender!!! I think her name was Tequila. She was so sweet and the drinks have me feeling amazing lol. I’ll definitely be visiting again!
